Charissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in parachurch ministry. She is passionate to see individuals, couples, and families renew their identities, cultivate healthy relationships, and gain tools for lasting change and influence.
As a psychotherapist, Charissa desires to come alongside each client in their journey with a posture of empathy, acceptance, pragmatism, and partnership. Her clinical areas of interest include working with individuals who are experiencing identity issues, cultural issues, life transitions, relational struggles, spiritual issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. As a speaker and ministry leader, Charissa is passionate about the intersections of mental health, faith, and social justice, and desires to see the Church grow in integrating psychology and spirituality. Charissa also has a heart to cultivate safe space, contextualized care, and holistic resourcing for pastors/ministry staff, families in ministry, and pastor’s kids.
